Rails, Trails & Ales: Beer and Bikes Adventure at Algonquin Park

Arrive by train or car and bike from the train station in South River to Algonquin Park (See Ontario Tourism Video from 2010). Our first stop is the Highlander Micro-Brewery for a tour and taste of local beer. Then enjoy the 20 km of rolling hills on a backcountry fall colours ride to our century old log cabin where we host an evening of great food, cooking pizza in the outdoor wood-fired oven, and sharing stories round the campfire.

Saturday, the trails beckon with guided mountain biking, hiking, and canoeing on the lake. Back at the Edge explore local food and beer matching with chef Gregor. Saturday night, a special musical guest joins us. Sunday, enjoy some quiet time or one last trail, before heading for South River to return to Union Station by train, or hop in your car for the ride home.
