Duke of Edinburgh Gold Adventure

School programs and individual youth often travel to the Edge to meet the Adventurous Journey requirement toward acheiving the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Join other youth looking to achieve the Duke of Edinburgh Award of Merit on this Duke of Ed Gold award qualifying Algonquin Park canoe trip.

This 5 day adventurous journey includes first night in a log cabin planning your adventure, and 4 days three nights in Algonquin Park living and exploring Canada's Algonquin Park. Youth will learn about tracking, wilderness survival and edible and medicinal plants as well as trip planning, wilderness camping and canoe tripping skills. Duke of Ed Gold trip is limited to 7 participants.

2010: June 23 - 27 (youth 16 - 25 years only)
Rate: $C650 + tax (all inclusive)
Includes: One night canvas cabin accommodation (upgrade to log cabin - $75) at the Edge with dinner and breakfast plus four days / three nights canoeing, camping in Algonquin Park with all meals and equipment provided.
