What is Glamping? Glamourous Camping at Northern Edge Algonquin

New this year, we're offering folks the opportunity to get the great Edge Experience while staying on a raised wooden platform under a large protective tarp, in your own tent. Our new Glamping option is designed to allow anyone to experience all that the Edge has to offer, while staring down these uncertain economic times with this recession-busting Glamping accommodation option.

Glamping at the Edge includes:

  • meals - largely organic, and local, much from our own garden and featuring locally raised meat, organic coffee, Algonquin Tea Company teas and more.
  • complete access to all Northern Edge Algonquin facilities including what some claim is Canada's best outhouse - a tiled floor and composting toilet.
  • access to showers and flush toilets in our Points North Gathering area.
  • complete access to equipment, facilities and facilitation team and retreat programs as all guests enjoy.
  • Glamping at the Edge is available with any scheduled Wilderness Arts, Yoga, sea kayakaing or Women's retreat.
