Magnetewan River Canoe Trip

Join Alexis Burnett as we paddle past rocky cliffs and through scenic canyons down the beautiful and majestic Magnetewan River. Our journey begins near Ahmek Lake and flows all the way to Byng Inlet at Georgian Bay as we travel through the rugged Canadian Shield country of Central Ontario.

Whitewater Beckons! We will begin with instruction on proper safety and river-running techniques and spend time learning various white water paddling skills. The ‘Mag’ offers many Class I, II & III rapids including the Porter, Upper and Lower Burnt Chutes, Canal, Three Snye and Thirty Dollar Rapids.

There is ample opportunity to view various species of wildlife on this trip including White Tail Deer, Wolf, Bear, Beaver, Mink, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron and many other species with experienced guides who take pride in sharing their passion for these natural places.
